Education and Training

Doctor Nammuni attended primary and secondary school in Sydney Australia and completed his Higher School Certificate at Barker College. He completed a Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at The University of New South Wales, graduating with Honours. After completing his internship and residency at Royal North Shore Hospital, Dr Nammuni commenced his surgical training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Nammuni first undertook his Basic Surgical training whilst working at Royal North Shore Hospital and went on to complete his Surgical Primary exam. He then undertook his specialty Vascular Surgery advanced training over the next 5 years, working in a number of hospitals in Sydney and rural New South Wales, as well as overseas. During this time Dr Nammuni undertook Vascular Surgery training at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, United Kingdom working as a specialty registrar. After returning to Australia and completing his vascular surgery training, Dr Nammuni was awarded his Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Fellowship in Vascular Surgery. Dr Nammuni then completed an Advanced Endovascular Fellowship in Aortic and Peripheral Interventions at the Park Hospital and Heart Centre, Leipzig Germany under the guidance of Dr Andre Schmidt. On completion of his endovascular fellowship Dr Nammuni returned to Sydney and commenced work as a consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon.
